In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and add the milk.

Stir in the grated chocolate and cocoa powder. Mix until smooth and fully melted.

Remove from heat and let the mixture cool for a couple of minutes.

Dip each biscuit briefly in the chocolate mixture (just enough to soften, not soak).

In a rectangular dish or loaf pan, layer the soaked biscuits flat.

Continue layering biscuits and chocolate sauce until ingredients are used up, ending with a layer of chocolate on top.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
