Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Add eggs, melted butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined; avoid overmixing.
Fold in the chopped almonds. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle extra almonds on top for added crunch.
Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
