Ingredients:

1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, with juice

¾ cup sugar

2 eggs

2 tablespoons cornstarch

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1½ tablespoons butter, sliced into small pats

How to make:

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).

In a medium bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until smooth.

Stir in the cornstarch and vanilla extract until well blended.

Add the crushed pineapple with its juice to the mixture and stir thoroughly.

Pour the mixture into a greased 8x8 inch baking dish.

Dot the top evenly with pats of butter.
