Quick No-Oven Bread: Easy Homemade Bread in Minutes

Warm the milk slightly (about 37°C / 98°F) to activate the yeast—be careful not to overheat.

In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, yogurt, and 1 tsp of sugar. Stir gently.

Sprinkle the instant yeast over the mixture and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

Add the remaining pinch of sugar and mix well.

Prepare your stovetop pan or microwave-safe dish. For stovetop: lightly grease a non-stick pan and preheat on low heat.

Pour the yeast mixture into the pan or dish. If using stovetop, cover the pan with a lid and cook on low for about 5-7 minutes until the bread rises and forms a soft crust on the bottom. If using a microwave, cook on medium power for 2-3 minutes, checking the bread’s texture.

Carefully remove from heat and let it cool slightly before slicing.
