Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
In a 13x9 inch baking dish, combine the stew meat, cream of mushroom soup, brown gravy mix, beefy onion soup mix, and one can of water.
Stir everything together until well combined.
Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.
Bake for 3 hours—do not open the oven or remove the foil during this time.
After 3 hours, remove from oven and stir gently. The meat should be incredibly tender and coated in a rich, flavorful gravy.
