Golden Crispy Funnel Cake Sticks: A Sweet Delight

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar until combined.

In another bowl, beat the egg, then add milk and vanilla extract, mixing well.

Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan or pot to 350°F (175°C). Use a thermometer to maintain the temperature accurately.

Transfer the batter into a piping bag with a round tip or use a zip-top bag with a small corner cut off. Pipe stick shapes about 3–4 inches long directly into the hot oil.

Fry the sticks in small batches, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and crispy, about 2–3 minutes.

Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.

While still warm, dust generously with powdered sugar and serve immediately.
