Keeping floors clean and streak-free can be a challenge, especially when many commercial cleaners leave behind residue that dulls the shine. This homemade floor cleaner recipe is simple, natural, and highly effective. It cuts through dirt and grime while leaving your floors sparkling clean and completely free of streaks or sticky film.
Ingredients:
1 gallon warm water
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol)
1 teaspoon liquid dish soap (mild, non-scented recommended)
Optional: 5-10 drops essential oil (like lemon or lavender) for fragrance
How to make:
In a large bucket, combine the warm water, white vinegar, rubbing alcohol, and liquid dish soap.
Stir gently to mix all ingredients without creating too many suds.
If desired, add essential oil drops for a pleasant scent and mix again.
Use a mop or microfiber cloth dipped in the solution, wrung out well, to clean your floors.
Allow floors to air dry; the alcohol and vinegar will evaporate quickly, leaving no streaks behind.
