Cookies and Cream Oreo Cake Delight

Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

In a large bowl, mix the vanilla cake mix, sour cream, eggs, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.

Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies and granulated sugar gently.

Divide the batter evenly between the two prepared pans.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove and let cool completely.

For the frosting, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Carefully fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture, then stir in the crushed Oreo cookies.

Place one cake layer on a serving plate, spread a layer of frosting on top. Place the second cake layer over and frost the entire cake.

Decorate with whole Oreo cookies and sprinkle extra crushed Oreos on top. Melt white chocolate chips and drizzle over the cake if desired.
