Baked Eggs and Cheese: A Comforting Breakfast Choice

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Lightly grease a small baking dish or individual ramekins with butter or oil.

Spread the cottage cheese evenly in the bottom of the dish.

Crack the eggs gently over the cottage cheese, spacing them out evenly.

Season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle chopped herbs if desired.

Place the dish in the oven and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the egg whites are set but the yolks remain slightly runny (or cook longer if you prefer firmer yolks).

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
