Remove any dishes and rinse the sink with warm water to clear away loose debris.
Sprinkle baking soda generously over the entire surface of the sink. The baking soda acts as a gentle abrasive to remove stains without scratching the steel.
Use a damp soft sponge or cloth to scrub the sink gently, focusing on areas with stains or water spots. Scrub following the grain of the stainless steel to avoid scratches.
Fill a spray bottle with white vinegar and spray it over the baking soda-covered sink. The vinegar will react with the baking soda, helping to lift away grime and mineral deposits.
Rinse the sink thoroughly with warm water to remove all residue.
Dry the sink completely with a clean microfiber cloth to prevent new water spots.
To polish and add shine, apply a small amount of olive oil or baby oil onto a dry cloth and rub it all over the sink’s surface, again following the grain.
Buff the sink with a fresh, dry cloth until it shines.
