Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a small bowl, combine sugar and ground cinnamon. Set aside.
Roll out the crescent dough sheet on a clean surface. Cut the dough into small strips, about 1 inch wide and 3 inches long.
Place the dough strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
While the churros bake, melt the butter in a small saucepan or microwave.
Remove baked dough strips from the oven and immediately brush them with melted butter.
Toss the buttered dough strips in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until fully coated.
