Orange-Ricotta Pound Cake: A Moist and Zesty Delight

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a loaf pan.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until pale and creamy.

Add the vegetable oil, milk, orange juice, vanilla extract, and ricotta cheese to the egg mixture. Stir gently until combined.

In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and orange zest.

Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, being careful not to overmix.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 50–60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let the cake cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
