This Potato and Ground Beef Bake is a comforting, satisfying dish perfect for family dinners. Layered with tender potatoes, flavorful ground beef, and aromatic herbs, it delivers warmth and richness in every bite. Ingredients:

1 kg potatoes, peeled and chopped into bite-sized pieces

Salt, black pepper, and rosemary to taste

4 eggs

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

1 onion, chopped

1 clove garlic, minced

½ bell pepper, chopped

500g ground beef

How to make:

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender but still firm, about 10-12 minutes. Drain and set aside.

In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper until softened.

Add the ground beef to the skillet, seasoning with salt, pepper, and rosemary. Cook until browned and cooked through.

In a large mixing bowl, lightly beat the eggs.

In a greased baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, followed by the cooked beef mixture, and then the remaining potatoes.

Pour the beaten eggs evenly over the layers to help bind the bake.

Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden on top.

Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
