Glass Stove Warning: What You Should Never Do

Never use cast iron directly on the glass surface. It’s heavy and can scratch or crack the glass if dropped or dragged.

Avoid placing frozen items or very cold pans directly on a hot stovetop. The sudden temperature change can cause the glass to shatter.

Don’t cook sugary items without caution. Burnt sugar hardens and bonds to the glass, which can cause pitting or surface damage.

Do not use oversized or warped cookware. It causes uneven heating and puts pressure on the glass, increasing the risk of breakage.

Never stand or lean heavily on the stovetop. The surface isn’t designed to hold body weight and can crack under pressure.
