Delightful Peanut Caramel Clusters for Sweet Cravings

In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar and water over medium heat. Stir gently until sugar dissolves, then stop stirring and let it boil until the mixture turns a deep amber color.

Carefully add the whipping cream while stirring continuously (mixture will bubble vigorously).

Add the butter and stir until smooth and glossy. Remove from heat.

Stir in the roasted peanuts until they are evenly coated with caramel.

Using two spoons, drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Sprinkle lightly with sea salt if desired.

Let the clusters cool completely at room temperature until hardened.
