Crispy Oven Baked Chicken Parmesan with Melted Mozzarella

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Season the chicken cutlets with salt and pepper.

Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan, garlic powder, and oregano.

Dredge each chicken piece in flour, then dip into the egg, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.

Place the coated chicken on the baking sheet and spray lightly with olive oil (or drizzle with a little oil).

Bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until golden and cooked through.

Remove from the oven, spoon marinara sauce over each cutlet, and top with shredded mozzarella.

Return to the oven and bake for another 8–10 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Garnish with fresh basil before serving, if desired.
