Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F). Lightly grease a large baking dish.
Boil the ziti pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ricotta, mozzarella, provolone, fontina, Parmesan, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until well blended.
In a separate bowl, mix the marinara sauce with red pepper flakes and basil.
Combine the cooked ziti with the cheese mixture and half of the tomato sauce. Stir gently to coat the pasta evenly.
Spread half of the pasta mixture into the prepared baking dish. Pour over the remaining tomato sauce and top with the rest of the pasta.
Sprinkle the top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 25–30 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.
