Bring water to a gentle boil in a small saucepan.
Add grated ginger and turmeric powder to the boiling water, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and strain the liquid into a bowl or jar.
Stir in the honey and lemon juice while the mixture is still warm but not hot, to preserve honey’s beneficial properties.
Mix well and let cool to room temperature before use.
