Easy Homemade Nougat – Better Than Store-Bought

Prepare the mix-ins:
In a large bowl, combine the peanuts, sesame seeds, dried mango, and cranberries. Set aside.

Melt the base:
In a non-stick pan over low heat, melt the butter. Add the marshmallows and stir continuously until fully melted and smooth.

Incorporate milk powder:
Stir in the milk powder gradually, mixing until a thick, creamy consistency forms.

Add mix-ins:
Remove from heat and quickly stir in the prepared nuts and dried fruit mixture. Mix thoroughly to coat everything evenly.

Shape the nougat:
Transfer the sticky mixture to a parchment-lined tray or mold. Press it down evenly and firmly with a spatula.

Cool and slice:
Let it cool completely at room temperature. Once set, cut into bite-sized squares or bars.
