If shrimp are raw, boil or steam them until pink and opaque. Allow to cool.
In a large bowl, combine celery, jalapeno, cucumber, avocado, cilantro, and onion.
Add the shrimp to the bowl and gently toss all ingredients together.
For seasoning, add lime juice, salt, and pepper to taste (optional, but recommended).
Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
Serve chilled, optionally garnished with additional cilantro or lime wedges.
