Spinach Cream Cheese Sauce: Simply Delicious

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and onion, and sauté until soft.

Add the fresh spinach and cook until wilted (or heat the drained frozen spinach).

Stir in the cream cheese until it melts and combines with the spinach.

Gradually add milk or cream while stirring until the sauce reaches your desired consistency.

Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Let simmer for 2–3 minutes.

Serve hot, garnished with grated parmesan if desired.
