Wash and cut the lemons and ginger into small pieces.
Crush the African black pepper lightly.
Place all ingredients in a saucepan with the 2 liters of water.
Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10–15 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool to a lukewarm temperature.
Strain the mixture and store in a clean bottle or jug.
