Introduction
These puff pastry bacon rolls are the perfect blend of crispy, cheesy, and savory. Made with flaky puff pastry, smoky bacon, and melted mozzarella, they’re ideal as a quick snack, appetizer, or even a party treat. Ready in just over half an hour, they deliver maximum flavor with minimal effort.
Ingredients:
3 ⅓ cups (400 g) yeast puff pastry
1 ¼ cups (150 g) bacon, thinly sliced
2–3 tbsp ketchup
1 cup (100 g) mozzarella, shredded
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
1 tbsp olive oil
How to make:
Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle.
Spread ketchup evenly over the pastry.
Layer with bacon and sprinkle mozzarella on top.
Roll the pastry tightly from one edge to form a log.
Cut the log into 2 cm thick slices and place them flat on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Brush the tops lightly with olive oil.
Bake for 18–20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
