Roasted Parmesan Creamed Onions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a bowl, toss the peeled pearl onions with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them evenly on a baking sheet.

Roast the onions in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until they are tender and slightly caramelized, stirring halfway through.

While the onions are roasting, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir and cook for about 2-3 minutes, until the mixture is heated through.

Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the saucepan and whisk until smooth and creamy.

Once the onions are roasted, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a serving dish. Pour the creamy Parmesan sauce over the onions and stir gently to coat.

Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
