Choose a Healthy Cutting: Take a fresh cutting from a mature mint plant. Snip just below a leaf node (the bump where leaves grow). Remove the bottom leaves to prevent them from sitting in water.
Place in Water: Fill a glass or jar with clean water and place the cutting inside, ensuring that at least one node is submerged.
Sunlight: Put the jar on a sunny windowsill where it will get indirect light. Avoid direct harsh sunlight to prevent overheating.
Change Water Regularly: Every 2–3 days, change the water to keep it fresh and oxygenated.
Wait for Roots: Within 7–14 days, roots should start to appear. Wait until roots are at least 5 cm long before transplanting.
Transplant (Optional): Once rooted, you can plant the mint in soil, or keep it in water and harvest as needed.
