Cheesy Flatbread with Green Onions: A Crispy, Savory Delight

1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)

3 green onions, finely chopped

Optional: a pinch of black pepper or chili flakes

How to make:

In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add warm water and oil, and mix until a soft dough forms.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5–7 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rest for 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, mix the cheese and chopped green onions in a bowl.

Divide the dough into 4 portions. Roll each into a thin circle.

Spoon the cheese-onion filling onto one half of each circle, fold over, and seal the edges.

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook each flatbread for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden and crisp.

Serve warm.
