Neapolitan Delight Cake

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour three 6-inch cake pans.

For each layer (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry), whisk together the dry ingredients in a bowl.

In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add extract and egg, mix well.

Alternate adding the dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture until smooth.

For the strawberry layer, stir in red food coloring if desired.

Pour each batter into separate pans.

Bake each layer for 20–25 minutes. Test doneness with a toothpick.

Cool in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

To make the frosting:

Beat butter until creamy.

Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing after each addition.

Add vanilla and milk to reach desired consistency.

Assembly:

Place the chocolate layer on a plate. Spread frosting on top.

Add the vanilla layer, frost it.

Add the strawberry layer and frost the top and sides.
