1. Boiling Water and Dish Soap
Pour boiling water directly into the dirty pan and add a few drops of dish soap. Let it soak for 15–30 minutes. Scrub with a brush or sponge to lift off loosened debris.
2. Baking Soda and Vinegar
Sprinkle baking soda generously over the surface, then pour vinegar on top. Let it fizz for a few minutes, then scrub. This chemical reaction helps break down stubborn grime.
3. Lemon and Salt Scrub
Cut a lemon in half and dip the cut side in coarse salt. Use it to scrub the grill lines. This helps deodorize and lift grease while leaving a fresh scent.
4. Aluminum Foil Scraper
Crumple a piece of aluminum foil and use it as a makeshift scrubber for grill grooves. It’s abrasive enough to clean without scratching.
+1: Overnight Baking Soda Soak
For very tough residue, mix a paste of baking soda and a little water. Spread it over the pan and leave overnight. Rinse and scrub the next day.
