Mix the Ingredients:
In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of Colgate toothpaste with 1 tablespoon of boric acid and 1 tablespoon of sugar.
Add enough water to the mixture to form a thick paste. Stir until all the ingredients are fully combined.
Apply the Mixture:
Use a spoon or your hands (wear gloves for hygiene) to apply the paste in areas where cockroaches are commonly seen, such as cracks, corners, under the sink, behind appliances, and along baseboards.
You can place the paste in small amounts, like pea-sized portions, to create effective traps for the cockroaches.
Leave it Overnight:
Let the mixture sit undisturbed overnight. Cockroaches will be attracted to the sugar and will ingest the paste.
The boric acid will dehydrate them and ultimately kill them, while the Colgate toothpaste will suffocate them as it sticks to their bodies.
Clean Up:
The next day, clean the affected areas and remove any dead cockroaches you may find. Reapply the paste if necessary, especially if you continue to see signs of infestation.
