Plant each rhizome section just below the surface of the soil, with the eyes facing upwards.
After planting, water generously to settle the soil around the rhizome.
Keep the soil moist but ensure it drains well. Ginger prefers a consistently moist environment, but standing water should be avoided.
5. Providing Ideal Conditions
Ginger thrives in warm and humid conditions. Aim for a temperature of 75-85°F (24-29°C).
Ginger also loves humidity, so a humidity tray or occasional misting may help keep the environment perfect for growth.
Place the pot in a spot with indirect sunlight, as ginger does not do well with direct, intense sunlight.

Regular watering is key, but be careful not to overdo it and create soggy soil.
