Garlic Shrimp Crostini with Avocado & Crispy Onions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Brush the baguette slices with olive oil, place them on a baking sheet, and bake for 8-10 minutes until golden and crisp.

While still warm, rub each slice with a cut garlic clove for extra flavor.

Make the Garlic Shrimp:

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.

Finish with lemon juice and parsley. Remove from heat.

Slice Avocado:

Slice the avocado and drizzle with lime juice, then season with salt and pepper.

Herb Oil (Optional):

Blend the olive oil, fresh herbs, lemon zest, and salt until smooth. Strain if desired.

Assemble:

Start by layering a slice of avocado on each crostini.

Top with 1-2 garlic shrimp.

Sprinkle crispy onions over the shrimp.

Arrange microgreens and edible flowers around the plate.

Drizzle with herb oil for a gourmet finish.
