Chocolate Swirl Delight: Brownie Pound Cake

Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a bundt or loaf pan.

In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to the wet ingredients alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour.

In another bowl, melt chocolate chips with butter. Stir in sugar, egg, flour, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt to make the brownie batter.

Pour half of the pound cake batter into the prepared pan. Spoon in the brownie batter and swirl gently with a knife. Add the remaining pound cake batter on top.

Bake for 55–65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool in the pan for 15 minutes before removing.
