Cheesecake Stuffed Baked Apples

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Slice off the top of each apple and carefully hollow them out, removing the core and seeds. Be careful not to pierce the bottom.

In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Mix until smooth and well-combined.

If using, add crushed graham crackers and stir to incorporate. You can also add honey or maple syrup for additional sweetness.

Stuff each apple with the cheesecake mixture, pressing it down gently to fill the hollow completely.

Place the apples in a buttered baking dish and top each one with a little butter. If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts on top for a crunchy finish.

Bake the apples in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the cheesecake filling is slightly golden.

Let the apples cool slightly before serving.
