Beef and Cabbage Stir Fry

Begin by thinly slicing the beef and chopping the cabbage and onion. Mince the garlic and ginger, and set them aside.

Stir Fry the Beef:
Heat a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add a little oil and stir-fry the sliced beef for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.

Cook the Vegetables:
In the same pan, add a bit more oil if needed. Add the sliced onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until it starts to soften. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the Cabbage:
Toss in the chopped cabbage and stir well. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the cabbage is tender but still slightly crunchy.

Combine and Flavor:
Return the cooked beef to the pan with the vegetables. Add the soy sauce and optional oyster sauce, stirring everything together to combine and heat through. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve:
Serve the Beef and Cabbage Stir Fry hot, garnished with green onions or sesame seeds if desired. Enjoy over rice for a complete meal.
