Southern Comfort Plate: Fried Fish, Cheesy Baked Spaghetti & Sides

Soak fish fillets in buttermilk for 30 minutes.

Mix cornmeal, flour, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper.

Heat oil in skillet to 350°F (175°C).

Dredge fillets in the mixture and fry until crispy, 3–4 minutes per side.

Drain on paper towels.

Baked Spaghetti:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook and drain spaghetti.

Sauté onion and pepper, add beef, and cook until browned.

Stir in tomato sauce and seasoning; simmer 10 minutes.

Combine with pasta, place in baking dish, top with cheddar.

Bake 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Salad:

Toss greens, tomatoes, and cucumber.

Add Parmesan and dressing before serving.

Garlic Bread:

Mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, and salt.

Brush on split rolls and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes.
