Smothered Turkey Wings – A Flavorful Comfort Dish

Prepare the turkey wings: Rinse the turkey wings and pat them dry with paper towels.

Season the wings: Season the turkey wings with the seasoning salt, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and thyme (if using). Rub the seasoning well into the wings.

Sear the wings: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a little oil. Brown the turkey wings on all sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Sauté the vegetables: In the same skillet, add the julienned bell peppers, onions, and minced garlic. Sauté until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.

Simmer the wings: Return the turkey wings to the skillet. Add a little water or chicken broth to the pan to create a sauce. Cover the skillet and let the wings simmer for 30-40 minutes, or until the turkey wings are tender.

Serve: Once the turkey wings are cooked and smothered in the flavorful sauce, serve them hot with your favorite side dishes.
