No-Knead Perfect Bread Recipe

In a large bowl, dissolve the sugar in the lukewarm water. Sprinkle the dry yeast over the water and let it sit for 5-10 minutes, until the mixture becomes frothy.

Add the flour to the yeast mixture and stir until it forms a sticky dough. You don’t need to knead the dough—just mix until combined.

Cover the bowl with a clean cloth or plastic wrap and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until it doubles in size.

Preheat your oven to 220°C (430°F). Place a baking dish or Dutch oven inside the oven while it heats.

Once the dough has risen, turn it out onto a floured surface. Shape it gently into a round loaf.

Carefully transfer the dough into the hot baking dish. Cover with a lid or foil and bake for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, remove the lid and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the bread is golden and crusty.

Let the bread cool slightly before slicing and serving.
