Ingredients:

1 garlic clove, crushed

1 small piece of fresh turmeric or 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1/4 small red or white onion, sliced

1 small piece of fresh ginger or 1/2 tsp ground ginger

1 small cinnamon stick or 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder

4–5 guava leaves (washed)

2 cups water
