Add the eggs and vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.

Mix the dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Add the chocolate chips: Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Scoop and bake: Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown around the edges but still soft in the middle.
