Cook the Pasta: Prepare bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Season the Chicken: While pasta cooks, season chicken with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet. Cook chicken for 5–7 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through. Remove and let rest.
Make the Sauce Base: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Add Liquids & Cheese: Pour in chicken broth and simmer. Stir in cream and Parmesan. Let simmer until slightly thickened.
Finish the Sauce: Stir in lemon juice, zest, salt, and pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning.
Combine: Slice chicken and return to the pan. Add pasta and toss everything to coat.
Serve: Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve hot.
