Ground Beef and Gravy Over Mashed Potatoes

For the mashed potatoes:

Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until the potatoes are tender (about 15 minutes).

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the milk, butter, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

For the ground beef and gravy:

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Remove any excess fat.

Add the chopped onion and garlic, cooking until softened (about 3-4 minutes).

Sprinkle the flour over the beef mixture and stir to combine. Cook for 1 minute.

Slowly pour in the beef broth, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens.

Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to taste. Let the gravy simmer for 5 minutes.

Assemble:

Spoon the mashed potatoes onto serving plates and top with the ground beef and gravy mixture.

Serve hot and enjoy!
