If using fresh flowers:
Harvest dandelion flowers from a clean, pesticide-free area.
Rinse thoroughly and trim off green bases for a milder taste.
Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add flowers.
Cover and steep for 10–15 minutes.
Strain and serve with optional honey, lemon, or mint.
If using dried root or leaves:
Place 1 tbsp dried root or leaves in a small pot with 2 cups of water.
Bring to a gentle simmer and let it bubble for 10–15 minutes.
Strain into a mug and flavor with sweetener or citrus if desired.
