Introduction :
This hydrating and detoxifying drink combines the cooling effect of cucumber, the zing of ginger, the refreshing taste of mint, and the zest of lemon. Ingredients:
1 cucumber, thinly sliced
1-inch piece of fresh ginger, thinly sliced or grated
A handful of fresh mint leaves
1 lemon, sliced
4 cups cold water
Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the Ingredients:
Wash and thinly slice the cucumber.
Peel and grate or slice the ginger.
Slice the lemon into wedges.
Lightly bruise the mint leaves by gently tapping them with the back of a spoon to release their oils.
Infuse the Water:
In a large pitcher, add the sliced cucumber, ginger, lemon, and mint leaves.
Pour the cold water over the ingredients.
Stir gently to mix the flavors.
Let It Infuse:
Refrigerate the infused water for at least 1 hour (preferably overnight) to allow the flavors to blend.
Serve:
