Crockpot Cheese Tortellini and Sausage

Cook the sausage:
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the Italian sausage, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks. Once cooked, drain any excess grease.

Combine in the crockpot:
In your crockpot, combine the cooked sausage, frozen tortellini, marinara sauce, and chicken broth. Stir everything together.

Cook:
Cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.

Add cheese:
In the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over the top. Cover and let the cheese melt.

Season and serve:
Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
