4 sausages (preferably smoked or Creole-style)

1 can (400 g) of tomato pulp

4 onions, sliced

5 cloves of garlic, minced

⅔ teaspoon turmeric

1 bouquet garni (thyme, bay leaf, parsley)

Salt and pepper to taste

Oil for frying
