Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.

Add the chopped onion and mushrooms to the skillet, cooking for 5-7 minutes until the onion is softened.

Stir in the soda cracker crumbs, milk, cream of mushroom soup, and water. Mix everything together until combined.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it out evenly.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour, or until the meat is cooked through and the flavors are well combined.

Remove from the oven and serve hot.
