Peace Lily, Forget Water – Use This Natural Mix and It Thrives for Years

Introduction:
Peace Lilies are beloved for their lush green leaves and elegant white blooms, but they’re surprisingly sensitive to overwatering or poor soil nutrients. Instead of plain water, this simple and natural mixture gives your plant a nutrient boost that helps it flourish and live longer—without complicated care routines.

Why It Works:
This method replaces regular watering with a banana peel infusion, which is rich in potassium, phosphorus, and calcium—key minerals that promote strong roots, green leaves, and prolonged flowering in Peace Lilies. Unlike chemical fertilizers, this DIY solution is gentle, organic, and eco-friendly.

Ingredients:
1 ripe banana peel

1 liter of water (filtered or dechlorinated)

Optional: 1 teaspoon of Epsom salt (for magnesium boost)

How to Make:
Chop the banana peel into small pieces.

Add the peel to a large jar or bottle with 1 liter of water.

Let the mixture sit for 24–48 hours at room temperature.

Strain out the solids and pour the banana-infused water into a watering can.

Water the Peace Lily with this mixture once every 10–14 days.
