Lemon-Basil Salmon Ring with Roasted Potatoes

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

If using potatoes, lightly grease the ring baking pan and arrange potato slices or baby potatoes at the bottom and sides.

Season the salmon fillet generously with salt, black pepper, and dried basil.

Place the salmon in the center of the ring pan, shaping it into a circle.

Tuck strips of butter evenly across the top of the salmon.

Squeeze juice from the lemon halves over the salmon, then place the squeezed lemon halves around the salmon or on top for extra aroma.

Cover with foil and bake for 25–30 minutes.

Remove the foil for the last 5 minutes to allow a slight crust to form.

Serve directly from the pan or gently lift onto a platter for a beautiful centerpiece.
