Ingenious Plastic Soldering Trick to Repair Broken Glasses Like New

Clean the Break: Ensure both broken edges are clean and dry.

Heat the Soldering Iron: Warm up the soldering iron until it's hot enough to melt plastic (usually 200–300°C).

Align and Fuse: Hold the broken pieces tightly together. Use the soldering iron to lightly melt along the seam to fuse the two pieces.

Reinforce the Joint: Melt a plastic strip or welding rod into the break to add extra strength. Smooth it out using the tip.

Cool and Sand: Let it cool fully. Then use fine sandpaper to smooth rough edges.

Optional Finishing Touch: Apply paint or polish to match the original frame color.
