In a clean bucket or basin, mix 1 cup of baking soda, 1 cup of white vinegar, and 1/2 cup of lemon juice. Add hot water to the mixture. The combination of baking soda and vinegar helps break down dirt and stains, while the lemon juice adds a natural bleaching effect.
Soak the Shirts:
Place your white shirts in the solution, making sure they are fully submerged. Allow them to soak for about 30 minutes. For stubborn stains, you can leave them in the solution for up to 1 hour.
Wash as Usual:
After soaking, remove the shirts and wash them in the washing machine using your usual laundry detergent. The soak will have loosened any dirt and stains, so your regular wash cycle will finish the job.
Dry and Enjoy:
Once the shirts are washed, dry them as you usually would, either in the dryer or by air drying. They should look noticeably whiter and fresher!
